What's All The Fuss About This Twitter Thing? Part III - Feed your AR Blog to Twitter:

  

Populate Twitter with your blogs!

 

After you create your Twitter profile, go to your AR Home Settings and turn on your Twitter updates:

 

Twitter - Announce new blog posts on your Twitter feed! ( Enable/disable updates)
Top of Form 
Twitter Username: 
Twitter Password:
Tweet Members only posts as well

 

Save this new setting, and watch every blog you post on AR automatically populate Twitter.  Is this cool or what?

  

Tweet you at the Top!

If you haven't done this yet, please do it now!  If you are not planning on being active on Twitter, wait until you get involved with it; there is nothing more boring than seeing someone's Twitter page filled with nothing but AR updates.

Hi Mirela, this is a nice feature that makes your tweets easy, the only challenge with it is that it pushes Active Rain s a Brand, not the author.  I prefer to Tweet my blog posts myself.  Just food for thought.

Kate:  AR has been such a Godsent to me, that I don't mind sharing the spotlight, not one bit.  If I could take out a banner ad and endorse AR on Twitter or anywhere else, I would!

 You can introduce your AR blog on Twitter whichever way you choose and as many times as you want (the automated AR only does it once).  By using the Bit.ly service to shorten the URL, you also benefit from exact click counts to your AR blog (from Twitter).  It's so good, it's scary!
