It's my Birthday today, so I have every right to poke fun at aging.  Here are a few well known tunes that have been "tweaked" to reflect an Aging Boomer Audience:

  • Johnny Nash--- I Can't See Clearly Now.

  • Paul Simon--- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver

  • The Commodores--- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom.

  • Procol Harem--- A Whiter Shade of Hair.

  • Leo Sayer--- You Make Me Feel Like Napping.

  • The Temptations--- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone.

  • Abba--- Denture Queen.

  • Tony Orlando--- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall.

  • Helen Reddy--- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore.

  • Leslie Gore--- It's My Procedure, and I'll Cry If I Want To.

Here are a few good thoughts about aging:

This is the youngest I will ever be.

I prefer aging to the alternative...

Happy Birthday Mirela!!

These songs are absolutely hilarious! I just have to post this pic of Jason and I because I was thinking about my age (!) and playing around on photoshop the other day trying out how it might look if when I have white hair. Sadly, the prospect isn't so far off ;-) Fortunately, though he's much younger than I, he's going gray much faster! Gosh I sure hope we don't need that switchplate anytime soon :))
