LOL FRIDAY - 12 For the Road

I'm writing an unauthorized autobiography.

Marriage is like witness protection. You get a new identity and a new home, and you're not allowed to see your old friends anymore.

Money is the root of all wealth.

Money is the root of all evil. For more information, send $10 to me.

Man: A creature made at the end of the workweek when God was tired.

Man is the only animal that blushes. Or needs to. Mark Twain

Last year for Christmas, I got a humidifier and a dehumidifier. I thought I'd put them in the same room and let them fight it out.

It's been so long since I've had sex, I've forgotten who ties up whom.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.

I'm having amnesia and Deja Vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

If the world were a logical place, men would be the ones who ride horses sidesaddle.

If swimming is so good for your figure, how do you explain whales?

Thanks for the laughs...I need a sense of humor right now more than ever!

Mirela, very funny probably because most of them are true. :o)

I found my wife on-line and I think my immediate delight was that she was exactly the same as she protrayed herself on-line.  Prior to meeting Kay, almost every woman posted a picture from 20 years ago.  I even considered dropping my age 20 years so women my own age would respond.

Great post and a good laugh to end a long week.  Now I can go into the weekend with a smile on my face.  Thanks

Thanks for this morning's laugh! Mark Twain is one of my favorite quippers (is that a word?) but I hadn't heard that one before. May I use it in my next client newsletter????

Mirela, I can do a lot with photo-shop, but if I attempted to deceive consumers like the young lady in your first shot does I'd be out of business.

Some really good ones, Mirela!  I was reminded of a great line from the wonderful British TV series, "Rumpole of the Bailey," which followed the adventures of one Horace Rumpole, a cynical old criminal defense lawyer who plied his trade in the London Criminal Courts, known as The Old Bailey.  Rumpole (who referred to his wife Hilda as "She Who Must Be Obeyed!") opined of marriage:

"Getting married is like pleading guilty - with an indeterminate sentence!"

Have a great weekend!!!

Mirela,

Good snapshots and editing.   I use to be on some of those websites years ago.  It is kind of like some agents business card photo's. LOL

Mirela, my wife was looking for a guy born in mid-week. Ones made on Friday may be missing a few parts and have some loose screws as they are trying to meet quota. Ones made on Monday are not good because the assemblers are all hung over. Thanks for the chuckle.
