Hi Mirela, I hope you don't mind, I reblogged your Haiti update for today 1/16. I am so frustrated that the U.S. isn't doing food and water drops by helicopter!!! What is going on down there?? I feel so helpless. Blessings, jill

I feel so sorry for all these people. I can't even imagine the types pf struggles they must be facing. So sad.

Mirela, thank you -- for caring so much, for putting out such good information for us, for doing something.

Jill:  YOu are an Angel!  Thank you for re-blogging!  Yes, I just can't understand what's going on there.  I felt so helpless, that's why I've been immersed in it for a couple of days.  I am now networking with several agencies and news media.  We just can't sit here idle while so many people are hurting.  Only by disseminating information and publicly pushing our representatives to take action can we overcome this bottle necking, which is indeed strangling the last bit of Life out of the Haitian people.  Even our own volunteers are feeling the shortages.

Please help me spread the information and keep involved.  We are not helpless.  We can do a lot for the people in Haiti.  Time is of the essence, however...   They have already started to bulldozer the buildings with survivors still in them.   Even when we get them out, they still perish due to the lack of medical care.  Yesterday a mother whose baby died inside of her only had 12 precious hours to survive without removing the baby.  Today she's dead.  No medical care.  We have less than 1,000 Medical Professionals on the ground in Haiti right now - that's 1,000 total: Doctors, nurses, paramedics.  They are stretched to the max.

I am urging my friends to pitch in and start putting pressure - something needs to be done and FAST!
