Million Dollar Homes In North Myrtle Beach

We currently have 51 homes for sale in North Myrtle Beach priced over a million dollars.

Of these, 32 Homes are East of Hwy. 17 (meaning "walking distance" to the Beach), 9 are located "second row" and 17 are Oceanfront.

The "cheapest" oceanfront Home in North Myrtle Beach is offered for sale at a "mere" $ 1,143,000.  It is a 40 year old Beach House that will probably find its way off the lot, as soon as the new owners purchase it.  The priciest home is offered at $ 2,950,000, a sprawling 35 year old 6BR/6BA beach house in my favorite area, Ocean Drive.  For $ 2,495,000 you can buy a 4 year old oceanfront beauty.    It has 4BR/4BA, 3,200 sq. ft.

These are the asking prices.  Let's see what has sold this year!

Oceanfront Homes sold this year:            Zero!

Second Row Million Dollar Homes sold this year:               Zero!

E. of Hwy. 17 Million Dollar Homes sold this year:              Zero!

North Myrtle Beach Million Dollar Homes sold this year:                Zero!

That settles it:  If you are in the market for a million dollar home, come shop North Myrtle Beach!

(By the way, this 5,400 sq. ft. Beach Home is my listing and it's a steal at $ 550K, that's just about half of a million dollars...  Any takers?)

Nice looking homes, sales over a million dollars in the North Atlanta area have slowed dramatically recently also.  They are selling, but there are years of inventory.

Mirela:

Those are beautiful properties!! I like the points you made about how they have not sold and perhaps they are currently over priced. As usual great post.

Pricey homes in my area are just sitting as well my friend. Our priciest city is Eagle Idaho with many homes priced well over 1 million and a large percentage of them are in short sale or foreclosure.

Mirela, I have to come and see Myrtle Beach sometime.  We have a home in Kure Beach, maybe we could make a short trip to check it out.  I will let you know afterward that we were in you stomping grounds, looks beautiful.

Audrey:  No, not afterward!  Please let me know ahead of time and I'll show you around.  It would be a pleasure to meet you!

Happy Mother's Day!

Sincerely-Mirela

I have a client who is looking for beachfront... Are all of these listed in the MLS Mirela?

Thanks,

Rachel

Rachel:  All the info here is from our MLS.  The pictures I took myself of random Beach homes in the area, with the exception of a couple of small pix I obtained from the mls.  Congratulations on having an oceanfront home buyer and good luck!
