If you had the money, which one would you pick?

If you had the money, which one would you pick?

When I was "economically strapped" (in my youth and with two kids in tow), I used to practice the art of "make believe shopping".  I would diligently select exactly what I wanted from mail order magazines (the right size, color, etc); I would look at all my wonderful choices, but never call the order in.  It somehow satisfied me to just visualize my "possible clothes".

If you were to buy your second home in Charleston, SC, which one would you choose?

Mirela, I choose number 2.  Charleston is such a fabulous place.  I need to get my husband back down there for a long weekend.  Those homes are really great.  Thanks for the photos.

Mirela - I love the foot path in the first one. But then, there's #5 (I've always wanted a veranda). The peach bricks on home #8 are calling my name. Oh crikey, I can't choose! All I know is that this reminds me it's time to take another tour of Charleston.

My wife is from Charleston, and whenever we have visited, I've gone around looking at many of those beautiful homes.  Number 7 on your list has always been my favorite.  I've always wondered what it would sell for.  Any idea?

Audrey:  Good taste!  I love nr. 2!

Jackie:  Good taste!  Yes, I know what you mean about nr. 1.  I love nr. 5, and nr. 7 is just stunning!

Gregory:  Good taste!  Nr. 7 is just so elegant!

Mirela, having never been to Charleston, I choose number 1. They're all lovely, but I really liked that one. Probably would even work for a primary residence. ;-)

I have to admit - many times, I've shopped the way you mentioned.........and never purchased. Fun!

Teri:  Good Choice!

Are we the only ones who have done that?  I guess visualization really works for us...

I love the character of the houses there.  We don't have too many areas that have much character here.  It would be a hard choice, I think I would have to buy them all!
