Myrtle Beach In July... Wish You Were Here!
Wow, what a great day at the beach today was! The water was so blue, the sand so white. There was not a cloud in the sky and the temperature was in the late eighties or early nineties... just perfect!
If you've never been to Myrtle Beach, you owe it to yourself to come down and try it for yourself. The water was so warm and clean; the waves were breaking close to the shore so you could just float for hours if you went a bit away from it (to about the 4.5 ft. level).
I've been to all the hot spots in the sun: Belize, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, St. Marten, Jamaica, The Black Sea, The Mediterannean and I love them all, but Myrtle Beach still reigns supreme. You know what the best part is? I LIVE HERE!!!
See You Soon! Love and Kisses!
Mirela Monte, You Myrtle Connection

...So when are you coming down?
You really should buy that place at the Beach you've always been dreaming of...
Oh my,
Mirela, you are blessed. Looks like a beautiful stretch of beach too and not too crowded. Yet !
Bob: I know! The beach here is so beautiful and the water so warm. I've never been to a place like this. I loved living in Fresno, because of Huntington Lake, Millerton lake, Woodward Park and Yosemite and Sequoia nearby, but living here is just so easy and oh, so sweet! I've been here for 13 years and I really don't think I'll ever move. It's just too pleasant!
Now that looks like a lot of fun. We were at the beach yesterday and I was about to download the pictures when I came across your post. Have a great rest of the summer.
I'm coming down there on Sunday. Can't wait!
Yes Mirela, Fresno would benefit by having you back here, but from the looks of Myrtle Beach, I wouldn't leave either. You've created a wonderful life there and you've proven the axiom, "Bloom where you're planted".
Bob: See, that's why I like you so much! You are a wise man!
Sheri: You'll have such a good time! Just hit the beach slowly: start laying out after 1pm and wear sunscreen. The sun is merciless between 11am-1pm. Notice how white I am compared to my best friend, Karen! She is a sun worshiper; I am a skin worshiper (notice the hat & glasses too-bring those along also).
Mana: I love the beach in California also, although the Pacific is a LOT colder than the ocean water here.
You are so lucky to live there. Isn't it hard to work when the weather is always so great?
I am glad you took some time for fun, before I left you were up to your ears in busy!
PS: I'm Back! should get a post or two on my trip some time this week once I catch up
Judy: I know it!
Robert: I look forward to reading them! Regardless of how busy I am, I always try to take a day off per week and go to the Beach. It always recharges me.
One of my agents does even better: she actually brings her umbrella, her folding chair, her phone and laptop and conducts business right on the Beach. Our office is within walking distance of the ocean, so if she needs to come in and meet a client, she's right there. She has a great body and she is not shy, and she has no qualms about meeting clients in her shorts & t-shirt. I don't mind, as long as the clients don't mind, and I've had no complaints yet.
This is the Beach and life is EASY!
Wish you were here!
I wish I was there too!
Wow. Really really stunning. Gorgeous!
Oh, and the beach is pretty too.
Fred, Fred, Fred: You sure have a way with words!
Robert: So when are you coming?
Mirela, is that an official invite? :)
Does it need to be OFFICIAL?
YES!
OK! Official it is! I will personally show you around. We'll brainstorm over martinis. I'll even find you a good oceanfront rental at a discount.
Great Pics! I am glad I only live 60 miles away!
Teresa: As you should be...
The water was so warm and inviting yesterday. My daughter spent three hours in it. I was in for about an hour and found it difficult to get out; that's how pleasant it was!
Mirela, Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos and your wonderful words. Hoping someday to have a place a the beach, and Myrtle Beach, looks ideal. I've enjoyed many trips there in the past. Mike
Mirela, I've always heard that Myrtle Beach was beautiful. Your pictures prove it. Wow. I can't wait to visit. LOL.
Looks delightful! Maybe next time I head east...
Looks like a wonderful beach to visit, I hear its great!
Benny: It really is great! Myrtle Beach is simply awesome! I hate to admit this, but it's even better than North Myrtle Beach. The water is so much bluer in the Myrtle Beach area than it is anywhere else.
Tamara: I would love to have you here! I will show you everything. You will have one heck of a personal tour, complete with Margaritaville! Let's get Chris, Robert and Sylvie to join us and I'll take a vacation and join you.
So when is the best time to visit???
(of course, I must make a comment about your pics first, Mirela)
There is no way in hell I'm coming down to Myrtle Beach until you fall in love again.... Talk about temptation, WOW!!! The last thing I need is a crush right now...lol...and YOU, my friend, are a 'MEGA CRUSH' just waiting to happen (maybe I should wait 'til Winter to meet you)
(now, about the beach)
I can't wait to visit...when can I come down? Huh??? Hmmm??? Huh???
:)
(Tamara, my security graphic is FRUSTRATION...lol)
Chris--
Perhaps they have sensors on the keyboards or cameras in the screens when you are typing for AR!!! ;-) Or maybe they have some sort of AI system that interprets your words.... Hope you are doing well. Only have a minute tonight. Spent the last 3 hours in the front yard trying to dress things up even more. Agent had a client drive up to the property over the weekend and then drove away.... It's a 2 story house that drops to the creek, but you can't tell that from the road... The house is magical, but I have to get people in here for them to know that! Anyway, I'm going to spend some time with my daughter and then call it an early night!
Mine is nispero--I don't have a clue what that is, or maybe I don't have a clue! ;-)
LOL Michael
Tamara: So good to hear from you. Nispero? Tree? Bush? Plant? I give up.
It's a tree
Chris, Tamara, Michael: You're having entirely too much fun without me!
I miss you guys and can't wait till our "Hump Day Therapy" on Wednesday! Are you game?
I'm quite certain that AR was not designed for this...
Heck, we're here; we might as well play...
See you Wednesday (10est)!
Nite Nite!
Chris, do you still remember our meeting place?
I can just see it: "I'm Not Griping" blog: "Mirela, Tamara, Sylvie!" Are you Here?
"Affordable Aerials" blog: "Tamara? You here? Mirela?"
"No Soup for You" blog: "Sylvie? Mirela? Tamara? Where are you?"

Chris, do you remember the code to get in?
Mirela? Tamara? Sylvie? Are you here?
Anyway, I do not have a code to get in. Last time, I just appeared (somehow). Please give me instructions and I will make sure I'm never lost on Wednesday evenings again.
-CL
Mirela? I see you sneaking around other posts...
Chris: I'm just giving you a hard time. You are already a member, so there's no code. See you tomorrow evening at 10est on the "Serial Monogamy and Real Estate Board". This is going to be GOOD! We are now a private group and we are having way too much fun on these forums.
There you are...
I'm looking forward to participating on Wednesday evening. Count me in!!!!
:)
Funny, I thought you'd let Chris run around for awhile looking for the code! Off to buy trees... See you all tonight!
Chris-- Will a nispero grow in the mountains???
Tamara: I love Chris! If I give him a hard time it's only for a few seconds.
So you have a green thumb, do you?
I only have one plant that survived me. One plant and one fish: an algae eater. That's my track record, so I won't be asking about any Nisperos...
By the way, the forum is tomorrow evening, not tonight, but I might be there tonight anyway.
Can't keep track of my days... I'll check in and see if you're there when I get back in.
I used to be able to kill cactus--I know, didn't think it was possible.... but somewhere along the line, my thumb has changed color and I'm getting a few things to grow for longer than 2 weeks! Actually, in Napa, our garden is amazing...corn, tomatoes, lettuce... I'm in shock!
Tamara? Are you somewhere nearby?
If a crabapple tree will grow there, you may be in luck. Not sure---you will be better served with a quick Google search.
Hey Chris--
Just got in, I'm exhausted! Strange day. I was in Reno and got carded at the grocery store for a bottle of ale that I didn't pick up... Then as I was coming back into CA with a few spruce trees and various bushes, the Ag Station made me stop and checked out all my plants... Hmmm, wonder what I've done that makes me look suspicious! But the carding was a compliment! She said she only checked if someone looked under 35... Honey, you made my day!
I think crabapples have a hard time here. I googled the nispero and it is MX, so I'm guessing it prefers a warmer climate with a longer growing season! I stuck with spruce, pretty hard to mess up with those!
Going to crash, so I hope any and all have a good night!
Goodnight, young lady!
Mama mia! never change.......ohh life in Italy is a lot better then this windy white'shh sand crap.
Small town presentation, take a look at Sorentino, Capri or Sardinia and compare!
