Change font size and color - a terrific free tool for bloggers!

B is for blogging
Someone asked me yesterday in a comment on a blog I wrote how I changed the size and color of the fonts.  There are several ways to do this.  But I really only know one way - and I learned about it a few months ago on Active Rain. Isn't AR great!! (Thanks to Candis Hidalgo.) has a good blog enhancer that allows changes to the font size and color.  Here is a link to their enhancer  You'll be able to see how easy it is to change the fonts here.

Once you have completed a draft of your blog on this enhancer, click the source button in the top left corner and click control A to select the entire blog and control C to copy this HTML code.  Now open up your AR blog.  Be sure to select the HTML tab.  Then paste the HTML code/blog from the enhancer right into Active Rain.

With this blog enhancer photos must have URL addresses.  Because of that it is easiest to add your photos or clip art through Active Rain instead of the blog enhancer.

Mirela, this is very helpful. I know a lot of Rainers play with colors and font sizes and styles. It has been a pet peeve of mine why it is not built into the Active Rain editor. But this gives us all an alternative without programming in HTML.

Hi Mirela,  And Happy Thanksgiving to you !  I had heard that when a post is copied from another editor the bots cannot read it.  Do you know if this is true or not ?

Mirela - good info, thankss. I have been using Nvu for writing all the posts, then copy and paste to AR, I add photos at AR as well. I think the bots are reading it too, since we are placing high for our keywords etc. Happy Thanksgiving. ~Rita

This looks like a great tool.  I think it will be a big benifit for some of the agents in my office.

happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving Mirela - and thanks for this tip.  I am with Gary- I would like to see this as part of Active Rain -- maybe they will give us this enhancement for Christmas.

Mirela, I bookmarked the site. A lot easier than using Dreamweaver. Thanks for the link.

I just went to the website and found out that this is no longer compatible with ActiveRain.  My search continues.
