It is my pleasure and honor to support Heather's most meaningful gift, the gift of life. Please help her achieve her goal!
Heather, your magnanimity moves me! If ever I lose faith, I'll just think of you; you will always be a source of inspiration for me! May God bless you both and soon you'll have 500 more good wishes, thoughts and prayers.
All is well with the World!
Mirela
Hello Active Rainers!
My birthday wish to my cousin, Heather, on her 1st kidney transplant anniversary (12/7) is to have 500 people sign her card. This is very important to me because I gave her my kidney and I really want to WOW her on her big day.
I have a week to get the remaining 427 signers. Will you help?I would appreciate anything you can do to help me reach my goal by forwarding this to your address books and online communities. Please REBLOG and FEATURE it! We've only got 7 days!
Thank you!

Connie is the quintessential Optimist. She has 100% of my support and admiration.
How could anyone refuse that? I signed the card and came back and I am still tearing up. Wow. I'm just guessing she'll end up with 10 times her goal of 500.
Hi Signing a card is easy, you two did the hard part.
Kelly: I know; you're right! The power of AR is amazing!
Gayle: Right you are!
You guys are AWESOME! Thank you so much for helping. As of today at 1pm, we only need 395 additional signatures on the Group Card. I definately couldn't do this without you so please keep spreading the word. You all are so much appreciated and in my prayers.
Mirela, Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't seen it...but just signed it and seems like she has an absolutely gorgeous card!
Carole: Thank you! People like Connie are rare. Her magnanimous gift saved her cousin's life. That is so extraordinary! How wonderful it feels to know that people like Connie exist...
Giving benefits the recipient, the giver and the onlooker. The gift in this case was extraordinary, and as such, the joy lingers on...
Hi Mirela, I signed the card earlier today. Thank you for passing this on. I'm happy to be a part, in some small way of helping. What a great story!
Mirela, I have friends of mine (brothers) that did the kidney swap many years ago. They now run a regatta every year to raise money for transplants. It is called the "transplant cup" and is typically the first regatta of the year for the J24 Parkway series...
Robert: That is too cool! Way to go! What a spirit! Have you signed the card?
Mary: Thank you! It is a great story. This is the true meaning of Christmas... this type of giving, not the commercialized one brought to you by Macys!
Yes, I did sign the card. I did not check to see if the magic 500 was hit or not yet...?
